1970’s Korean cinema is often described as ‘dark period.’ Hidden in the social climate from political darkness, oppressive drive of economic growth and cultural changes, there is a group of Korean comedy films armed with crazy styles and unleashed imaginations allowing us a microscopic observation of societal particularity of 1970s Korea.
